David reaches Everest Base Camp

Big congratulations to David who reached Everest Base Camp on Monday 2nd May. The party got the opportunity to explore Base Camp, take in the stunning views and see the edge of the icefall which is the start of the climbing route for the world’s highest mountain. clip_image002 At their highest point the trekking party reached 5400 metres and the acclimatisation process was key to their success. David challenged himself to this trek and is hoping to raise £3000 for Cancer Research UK. He has been overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity and would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has helped him raise 48% of his target so far. If you’d like to make a donation please visit David’s Just Giving Page.
